My life has given me a very diverse experience in the business world. I enjoy working with small businesses to improve their accounting and administrative task to improve the bottom line. In 2000 I graduated from GROW and I appreciate the opportunity to give back to the program through teaching to prospective new entrepreneurs. I am blessed to be the mother of two wonderful daughters with 3 grandchildren, and soon to be an empty nester. I enjoy early morning walks trying to capture unsuspecting wild life with my camera, along with new and unusual mini adventures. My mind is filled with ways to improve or reuse the existing with process being as rewarding as enjoying the finished project. I am thankful for my paths in life and try to enjoy the journey each and everyday.
I am a senior at Grandville High School. This fall I will be attending Lake Michigan College in Saint Joseph, Michigan and beginning a dual major in Accounting and Sports Management. Growing up I have been involved in QuickBooks accounting with my mom and working with small businesses. It gives me pleasure to be efficient and effective, providing clients with accurate financials. Along with accounting, I enjoy being an extra set of hands for small business owners, assisting with task they are not able to complete. A lot of my life has been devoted to soccer, being a player, a coach and referee. Almost everything I know in life, I learned on a soccer field. I will be playing in college, and I have been invited to work towards becoming a national soccer referee.
I am currently enrolled at Davenport University, studying towards a degree in business. After graduating from high school I decided to major in accounting. Ladi Bos & Daughter is providing the opportunity to apply my college education in live situations and to gain an understanding of what can impact business financials. I have become more comfortable meeting new people and it is interesting to see how daily businesses operate. I enjoy being outdoors all seasons and I especially like spending time at our wilderness cabin in Canada. It’s a nice escape from everyday life and technology.
